Fasting Ideas

.

.

1.  Food A: Set aside a day - a week and choose to fast completely from

food. During those times you would normally be preparing and

consuming food pray, worship, or read the Bible.

Food B: Set aside a day - a month and choose to abstain from a particular

food (sugar, cafeine, alcohol, etc). When you start to crave these

foods instead of focusing on your desire to have those foods spend

your thoughts on some kind of spiritual exercise (prayer, worship,

                etc...).

2. Entertainment: Set aside a day, week, or month and choose to abstain from TV, movies, internet, or video games in order to spend that time in focused attention to God. Simlar to fasting from food use this time to pray, worship, or read the bible.
