Did you hear something?
Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while you might miss it. And sometimes, when we aren’t intentional about opening our “ears”, we do just that. God’s declarations and proclamations are all around us if we just open ourselves up to let them in.
The bible is full of life begging for us to let it in.
“we proclaim to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us, …the Father, and with his Son” (1 john 1:3) “Lift up your heads, … that the king of Glory may come in” (Ps 24:10) He is coming; He is here; He is called Immanuel; God with us.
Read… Listen… Pray.
Father, sometimes it’s hard to hear you. Sometimes life is too loud, and sometimes I am too loud. Help me to hear you in everything that is around me. In You I want to live and breathe and have my being. Amen.
